My crop top is made from a cotton jersey that is woven within the UK. It is then sustainably printed using OEKO TEX standard eco-friendly dyes and water free manufacturing using a dye sublimation method to ensure the fabric retains the colour and vibrancy of the prints, making the fabric long-lasting. Once the fabric was printed I then sewed the crop top up on my overlocker and domestic machine using rPET threads made from recycled polyester. The jersey is super stretch making the crop top comfortable to wear as well as being ultra-flattering. I get all my fabric printed with a company called Contrado who are based in West London.

The print is hand-drawn by me using a mixture of Adobe Photoshop and Procreate on my IPad. All my prints take a lot of inspiration from the 60s and 70s but add a contemporary twist with the colours combinations I use. To design my prints I start by creating the repeating motifs and then dot them about on an empty canvas before hand-drawing each individual shapes to fill in the gaps.
