Fashion Revolution
All money fundraised from this auction will be donated to Fashion Revolution.
Fashion Revolution has worked to become the world's largest fashion activism movement by mobilising citizens, industry and policymakers through their research, education and advocacy work. They were established after the Rana Plaza tragedy in 2013 when an eight-store garment factory in Bangladesh, producing products for fast fashion brands, collapsed and 1,134 people were killed.
After this disaster, Fashion Revolution have been determined to raise awareness and educate people about the systematic challenges facing the fashion industry. They also inspire people to make more sustainable fashion choices and they create tools for people to be able to speak up and make a change within the fashion industry.

Each year they host Fashion Revolution week, which centers around the anniversary of the Rana Plaza collapse. During this week they encourage people to ask brands to be transparent about the production behind their clothes by using the hashtags #WhoMadeMyClothes and #WhatIsInMyClothes.
Fashion Revolution envisions:
“A global industry that conserves and restores the environment and values people over growth and profit”

Clothes Minded Events are taking part in Fashion Revolution week by hosting this sustainable fashion auction. All money fundraised will be donated to Fashion Revolution and we hope you can help us make a change!
